Vlada Lemeshevska is a British actress & theatre maker, of Russian and Latvian origin. Vlada trained professionally as actress at East 15 Acting School in London. As part of her training, she also completed several acting residencies - at Shakespeares's Globe in London and at GITIS (Russian Institute of Theatre Art) in Moscow.
Her projects include the lead roles of Antigone in
ANTI GONE (Marylebone Theatre), Anna in
Anna Karenina, Nora
in A Doll's House, Suzanne in
The Marriago of Figaro (The Cockpit) and Pippi in
Pippi Longstocking (Young Actors Theatre). Vlada also played Vyazemskaya in
A Dog's Heart (Pleasance), Natalia in
Love in a Nutshell (The Cockpit)
, Nastia in Teatro Vivo's promenade performance
Twistov. In 2023 with the show
ANTI GONE, Vlada was invited to participate in the official selection of
ITFoK festival in India, playing alongside shows by Romeo Castelucci, Eugenio Barba and Peter Brook.
Vlada is also a founder, artistic director and producer of London based Eastern European theatre company
Xameleon Theatre, which was voted one of the Top Three Theatres outside Russia (
Звезда Театрала Award) in 2018 and 2020, as well as was shortlisted as one of TOP 30 European companies in Perform Europe 2021. Vlada was selected as one of the participants at European Theatre Convention Producer's Academy in Avignon in 2021 led by prominent theatre managers from major European theatres.
Vlada has lived and worked in the UK for 15 years, having moved to London from Riga, Latvia. She holds both UK and EU citizenships. Vlada is represented by
